Gyliauchenidae work featured on The Lab Down Under
One of my papers, published with Terry Miller, Scott Cutmore and Tom Cribb has been featured on the Science Journalism Blog The Lab Down Under. The paper details the discovery and description of a new species of the trematode family Gyliauchenidae, Endochortophagus protoporus from the western buffalo bream Kyphsus cornellii.
Members of the closely related Enenteridae exploit kyphosid fishes, but
this is the first occurrence of a gyliauchenid in such a fish. A link to the article at The Lab Down Under.
